My Information - Training Camp
On November 4, 2024, the second phase of the 2024 Autumn Training Camp has concluded, and the third phase has started on the 11th.
I stumbled upon this training camp on Bilibili, hoping that through it, I could not only learn the Rust language but also delve into the specialized knowledge of operating system kernels and related projects. However, my pace may have been a bit hasty.
As I encountered operating system-level concepts for the first time, facing the vast amount of information in the documentation at
https://rcore-os.cn/rCore-Tutorial-Book-v3/, I found it difficult to fully digest even within the three weeks stipulated by the training camp, especially with five experimental tasks to complete.
From the discussions among classmates in the professional phase training camp group, as well as those seasoned professionals who have been navigating the workplace for years, I realized that my technical skills still have room for improvement.
Nevertheless, this experience was not without its gains. Even though I stalled at the second phase, I still acquired some new knowledge, and by participating in the training camp, I met many like-minded partners who are also passionate about open-source projects, broadening my horizons and providing me with more avenues to understand this field.
Therefore, I have decided to continue and enroll in the Spring 2025 training camp, hoping to take this opportunity to address my shortcomings and successfully complete all phases of learning.
